Kirk and his wife Mary (both Dallas natives) live in East Dallas with their two sons. The family believes in supporting the community by volunteering and supporting a local charity that supports survivors of domestic violence and trafficking. Kirk has served on the charity's board of directors for 5 years and is the current board chair.
